Its prime location also puts you within a stone’s throw from quintessential Costwolds villages and walks which are all within the local area, there is lots to see and do without having to go too far afield.
Perfect for a cosy, home-from-home break, the cottage has a working log burner and is stocked with essentials like tea/coffee/sugar to make your stay more comfortable.
There are some great walks local to the cottage if you don’t fancy hopping in the car. The Stroud Valley has a well know route, the start of which is just to the south. The Stroud Walk is 9.47km long and takes roughly 2 hours 21 minutes from start to finish. To the north is the small village Bisley where another walking route starts. Heading south this loop is roughly 9km long and will take you 2 hours 15 minutes. It’s a moderately tough walk with generally consistent elevation throughout.
You can stay for a week here and go on a different walk every day! With two great pubs within walking distance and the newly renovated interior, this cottage is a great base for your stay in the Cotswolds.
One dog is allowed with advanced notice but is not to be left alone in the cottage or allowed on the sofa or bed.
