The coast offer some brilliant views, but also gives you an opportunity to learn. We really enjoyed the Discovery Points which are dotted along the Discovery Trail. Each point reveals facts and takes you on an adventure back in time. You walk a little, you learn a little. It was a great way to experience North Norfolk.
If you wanted something slightly different to the sand and sea air, Norfolk also has The Broads National Park. Walk along the man made rivers which were create by peat digging in the 16th century. Experience the never ending skies and beautiful marshland and woodlands any time of the year.

A spacious Grade II listed cottage brilliantly located a short walk from the nearby nature reserve, which is great for heading out on long walks with your doggy. The wooden beams give this cottage it’s charm, a perfect place for you an your pup to stay as you explore the surrounding Norfolk area.
The fireplace is home to a wood burner which adds to the oodles of charm this cottage has. You are greeted by large spacious living area as you enter giving you more than enough room to get yourselves sorted even when muddy and wet! The kitchen is home to a large table where you can share an evening meal together and includes a double range oven, so in the event you’re really hungry, you’re covered. The bedrooms are roomy and clean with white sheets and tasteful decor. The bed was well made and towels were waiting for us at the foot. The bathroom is lovely and decorated with bright tiles, the shower perfect for washing away any potential aches and pains gained from the day.
A small courtyard with seating is available outside the cottage. It’s perfect to enjoy a drink at dusk as you wind down and discuss the adventures you’ve had with you four legged friend.

Stockman’s Cottage has a reputation that precedes itself! It has been featured in Country Living Magazine where it was met with glowing reviews, and the surrounding area also has it’s own claim to fame as it has been featured on ‘Spring Watch’ 3 years on the trot. The Cottage itself is situated on the grounds of Westfield farm out he outskirts of the village of Foulsham, and within walking distance to other villages such as Burnham Market. A great retreat to spend some time with your loved ones and your family pup.
As you enter the enormous front door, you are greeted by an entrance hall which is more than big enough to de-shoe, de-coat and make sure your four legged friend doesn’t dart into the house wet and muddy! As you carry on through, you enter a vast sitting area, with high ceilings and oak beams as well as a nice warm log burner. The sitting area includes two large comfy sofas for you to chill out on, but in addition the cottage also comes with a snug area. The snug is perfect if you are travelling with children (and the pet dog!) as you can have your own spaces when it comes to downtime.
The bedrooms are more than spacious enough, with a double bed in one room and two singles in the other. The beds themselves are super comfy and the master bedroom wooden frame is really beautiful. The master bedroom also has an en suite with a shower and toilet and the other bathroom, which includes a bathtub, is located downstairs.
Outside you have use of a cottage style garden and parking. A great place to catch the rays if you happen to be lucky! All in all, a very beautiful cottage in a great location.
